Associated Press, a United States press agency, collected in a book titled "Vietnam: the real war" 250 of the best photographies taken during the Vietnam war. The book contains the most famous pictures of the war that the agency was able to constantly provide thanks to many journalists and photo reporters. During Vietnam war, photographers could officially follow military actions and report them without any censure for the first time in history.
I believe that some of these pictures are more effective than videos because they are more direct. In my opinion the picture showing the naked young girl crying after an attack in Napalm is stronger than hundreds hours of filmed war actions.
