Obama has announced that he is sending troops into Syria and putting their feet on the ground. In his original campaign, he stated that he did not want to engage in war. When rumors were spread about ISIS attacking us, he decided to drop bombs killing innocents. From the beginning and still today, there is not legitimate proof that ISIS was ever planning on attacking us. On top of that, there is also no proof on the location of ISIS so we dropped bombs based on assumption. Not only did Obama say he wanted to avoid war and is now doing the complete opposite, but he's starting it based on rumors that may not even be true. What I believe should have been done from day one, is prepare troops and be ready for an attack but refuse to make the first move because now there will be a war when it could have been avoided. Obama's contradictions are only harming us as well as innocents.
